On May 4, 1993, RMS Titanic, Inc. acquired all the assets and assumed all the liabilities of Titanic Ventures Limited Partnership. The following month, RMS Titanic, Inc. and IFREMER conducted a second joint expedition to the Titanic's wreck site with the French research and recovery ship Nadir. 

The French-American team conducted 15 dives and recovered approximately 800 artifacts, including a set of the Ship's whistles, (93/0112) (93/0133) (93/0130), a double lifeboat davit (93/0163A) and base, and a two-ton engine eccentric strap (93/0132). Almost miraculously, along with these heavy metal objects, a delicate jet bead (93/0125) and a child's marbles (93/0154.1 & .2/2) were also brought to the surface.
